For New Scouts Only
Every scout will need to complete the following steps to fully register. We are thrilled that you are going to be a part of our Troop 60.
Please register for a new youth Scout through the online youth application HERE.
Please fill out the medical forms parts A and B HERE and bring a hard copy to your Scout Master.
We request but do not require that all parents take the Youth Protection Training offered through a MyScouting.org account HERE. The well-being and safety of your Scout is our highest priority. If you want to become a registered volunteer, you can do that HERE.
You will need to obtain a uniform HERE or by visiting out local Scout Service Center in San Luis Obispo. Please note that we have “experienced” uniform shirts at the Scout Hut, which are subject to availability.
Each year, we hots lots of great projects, programs and events and the Troop need lots of help and relies on member support to be successful. We will be communicating via email, so make sure the Scout Master has your current contact information. If you have any interests, special talents, or the ability to volunteer with the Troop, let us know how you can be involved. Everything we do is done through volunteer energy.

Registration Fees
Annuals dues for brand new Scouts are $195. This includes a one-time new Scout fee of $25, a $85 fee for registration and an $85 fee for council programming from BSA for all twelve months. In order to provide a first-rate experience for your sons, there are also fundraising opportunities throughout the year.
