Summer 2023 Treasure Hunt

To earn the National Summertime Pack Award, Pack 92 plans activities for our Scouts during the months of June, July and August. Our main event is in July, and this year our team of parent volunteers put together a Treasure Hunt inspired by the 1985 cult classic movie, The Goonies.

Using a map and key, participants found and deciphered seven different puzzles hidden throughout the city of Paso Robles. We used the QR codes on the Bluebird Houses built by our Scouts to mark each clue. Perfect for a hot summer afternoon, the prize was a coupon for a scoop of local ice cream and a pinback Treasure Hunt button.

We can’t wait to do it again next summer!
